Membership

 

1. I am already a CMC Member, how do I find out my log in information?
   When your payment has been processed (either via credit card or check) you will receive an email with your username and temporary password.  
   
2. I've joined the CMC, but I can't access the Members Only pages.  What's the problem?  
   If you joined the CMC and paid by check, your membership is not active until your payment has been received by our Membership Coordinator.   This can sometimes take up to two weeks to process.  You will receive an email confirmation when your payment has been received.  
   
3. Can I attend an event or the General Meeting to see if I would like to join?
   Absolutely! We would love to meet you.   Check our Calendar for our next scheduled meeting (they generally are held on the first Thursday of the month. 

Newsletter

1. When should I expect my newsletter?
   Our newsletter arrives the first week of every month. It is full of articles, advice, events, baby announcements, birthdays, and much more. For delivery problems, please contact our Membership Coordinator.  You can also elect to view your newsletter online. 
   
   
2. How do I advertise in the newsletter?
   Another member advantage is access to free classified advertising for such things as childcare requests or the availability of a baby item for sale (like a car seat). The newsletter also accepts advertising from outside sources. Contact our Newsletter Coordinator for more information.
   
   
3. Can I submit an article to the newsletter?
   Yes, our newsletter editor is always looking for members who are interested in contributing content. Submissions are due on the 15th of each month for publication in the following month's newsletter. Contact our Newsletter Coordinator for more information.
   

Playgroups

1. My baby is too little to play. Why should I join a playgroup?
   Playgroups give you an opportunity to meet other mothers with children the same age as your own, allowing you to develop a small support network within our large club. And you will enjoy watching your child's first friendships develop over time.  See our Playgroups page for a description of the many types of playgroups we offer. 
   
   
2. I only want to join a playgroup. Do I need to join the Coastside Mothers Club?
   Yes, playgroups are one of the many benefits of membership. Click New Member Sign Up to join the Coastside Mothers' Club today. 
   
   
3. How do I join a playgroup?
   We form a new playgroup every six months or as needed. Review our Playgroups page for more information, then go to the Interest page to sign up for the playgroup or contact our Playgroup Coordinator for questions.
